International
Volunteers Day provides an excellent opportunity for me to thank all our
volunteers for the extraordinary work you do in serving others through The
Salvation Army.
We
are so grateful to our ‘Army’ of volunteers who have helped us to make a
difference in the lives of countless others.
In a
day and age when so many are occupied with self interest, we value even more
highly those who are motivated to give of their time in service of others.
We honour you today. We thank God for you and to each of you we
say God bless you.
